by | May 27, 2009

YouTube Video VVU4d1loOUFGektOMmZNUkdLMkJiNlpBLnU5VXgtX1p2dTJn This video shows the pulley made for the X2 mini mill belt drive conversion as shows on the free plans at HossMachine and GrizHFMiniMill Yahoo Group. This conversion allows the mill to run at a slightly higher speed, reduces the noise and most importantly, illuminates the possibility of stripping the standard plastic gearing.

by | Oct 30, 2008

YouTube Video VVU4d1loOUFGektOMmZNUkdLMkJiNlpBLjFQRkV3dHR2aHBR A short video on the amazing water circulation created by the, at the time, rare ADA Lily Pipe p2.

Moderate water circulation evenly within the aquarium is essential to maintain the water quality and prevent algae appearance. However excessively strong out flow of the power filter works negatively, hindering healthy growth of aquatic plants.

Lily Pipe Outflow is hydrodynamically designed to create an moderate circulation of water within the aquarium ideal for the growth of aquatic plants.

Sliding Lily Pipe Outflow above the waterline allows it to also serve as an aerator which eliminates oily surface film.

YouTube Video VVU4d1loOUFGektOMmZNUkdLMkJiNlpBLndkNEZCNWlBWDJj Video to show the electrolysis of acidified water - dilute sulphuric acid, in microscale and a larger demo. In both demonstrations the hydrogen and oxygen is liberated and ignited in a stoichiometric mix. Please consider how few bubbles are reacted to create such an amazing explosion. The final explosion has really not been captured on camera, it was loud!!

Please don`t try this at home. It has been done in a controlled way with all necessary safety measures.

Sorry about the music, I was playing around a little bit with multiple tracks!
enjoy.
