This electronic rotary divider is invaluble. It allows divisions between 1-999 which is phenominal considering how many dividing plates this would require with a conventional dividing head. The divider also allows jogging by a specific angle, movement to a set angle and continuous revolutions. 

The first step was to remove the handle and install the stepper motor:

I`ve now made this divider a few times as World of Ward (Steve Ward) has updated and upgraded the parts over the years. In the early days Steve provided a PIC that was programmed with the software and I printed my own PCB! He now provides the fully printed PCB with programmed PIC installed. He also sells the keypad and various other components to get this up and running. I was luckly enough to pick up one of his CNC cut cases which he uses personally for the full unit he provides.
