Here are the valve guides that are inserted into the top and bottom block of the three piece valve block. These are very small but I was really pleased with how they turned out.

Hi – You are doing well. The last post I have seen is the photos of the valve guides. Any further photos of your build sent to me would be much appreciated as I am contemplating building the Webster engine myself. Being a beginner machinist I need all the help I can get.

Hi Bill
If you look through the “Webster Engine” section of the site, you`ll see all the pics I took of the Webster start to finish. I`m not going to lie, it does run but it is very temperamental! It tends to run for about 4-5 minutes on initial startup but then won`t run again unless you leave it for a few minutes. It could be the temperature of running causing the piston to bind in the cylinder, but I`ve not explored it!
