Sim Racing - Cheap DIY Cockpit Rig with BMW E36 working Cluster and Dash - Triple Display
I started building this for my son and like most projects I do, got a bit out of hand! What was going to be a steering wheel attached to a desk for the Xbox one, ended up as a fully functioning E36 dash and cluster, triple monitor display and leather Saab seat – run by a dedicated PC!
It was good fun and to be fair, if I would have already had the PC and ignored the price of the wheel, then making a DIY cockpit cost very little – and it feels great!
